Willyum Beck is an independent Fashion Editor/Stylist and Art Director based in NY.
Willyum got his start while at Nike Women, where he served as an art director for the global brand design team. It was there that he collaborated with some of the industry’s most exciting stylists on global ad campaigns. After leaving Nike, Willyum began assisting his collaborators including Anna Trevelyan, Carlos Nazario, Renelou Padora, and Shibon Kennedy — quickly developing his own voice and point of view — before taking on his own projects and clients.
Willyum is known for his support of young brands and designers as well as bringing inclusivity to the high fashion landscape through his styling. He loves collaborating with both upcoming young creatives as well as those more established in the industry such as Steven Klein and Sharif Hamza.
His androgynous, whimsical, and subversive styling has been featured in editorials for The Wall Street Journal, Grazia USA, Super Normal, Gay Times, Wonderland, CAP74024, Nylon, Paper, and V magazines. Willyum consults and styles for several international brands including Nike, Missoni, Tom Ford Beauty, Fila, Ka Wa Key, and TUMI to name a few and has worked with multiple celebrities including Phoebe Bridgers, MJ Rodriguez, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Jonny Beauchamp, Tracy Anderson, Sasha Velour, La Roux, Leland, Benito Skinner, Rickey Thompson, Maggie Lindemann, and many more.
Willyum is currently the Senior Art Director at Brandon Maxwell’s Walmart Fashion brand, Free Assembly.
